Our Green Mission Statement

Here at Amie Howard Art, we care about the environment and our impact on it and we’re dedicated to doing everything we can to reduce our footprint so here is our Green Mission Statement.

Why do we care?

We know how important it is to be more eco-aware and it’s something we’re passionate about. We want to provide a better and more sustainable future for new generations; we want to preserve wildlife and habitats and help our ecology grow and flourish; we want to lessen our carbon and waste footprint on the environment.

What’s Our End Goal?

Our mission is to be as close to zero waste as possible. We want to use and recycle as much of our plastic and paper usage as possible. We want to become a Green Business which is run on green energy – this is something we’re working on right now. We’d love to be able to educate and promote about why it is necessary to be sustainable and also make people more aware of conservation efforts.

How Are We Doing This?

Packaging

ALL our packaging – mailing boxes/envelopes, tissue paper, stickers and inserts – are either recyclable or are made from recycled materials. Even the tape we use is made from recycled plastic and is solvent free so can be popped into your recycling bin.

Our Products

All our products are made from recycled materials and are fully recyclable. We use a biofilm or compostable bag to protect items, which can be added to your compost heap or recycled. Even if it’s added to regular household waste, it’ll biodegrade within a year.

Our Suppliers

We make sure to carefully source and choose suppliers for all our products who have the same goal and eco-friendly values. All our paper products are sourced from one company who is FSC certified, meaning our paper products are sustainably sourced.

Planting Trees

With the help of #TeamTrees and the Arbor Day Foundation, we are trying to make a difference and planting trees for not just us but future generations.
